The skipper's cabin on a cargo vessel was in need of a thorough transformation. During the summer, it would become unbearably hot, while in winter, it turned cold and damp with inadequate facilities to live in. We got all the interior out until only the steel carcas was left, fixt all the rust and holes and then started rebuilding everything up from scratch. Today, it stands as a brand-new, contemporary, and romantic floating apartment in the heart of Amsterdam.
