Despite public restroom facilities not typically being highly regarded, the structure at Sloterstrand is remarkably unique and beautifully crafted. It is entirely constructed from wood, taking the form of a cylindrical shape with a section removed to accommodate the doors. The entire building is encircled by 5 cm thick Douglas planks that stand proud on the facade, each possessing a distinct shape. As a result, there is a sense of 'movement' as you walk around it. I played a part in the construction of this captivating project.
