ORGANISATIE EN ALL ROUND BOUWER
Treehouse NDSMBij de bouw van broedplaats Treehouse op het NDSM terrein in Amsterdam was ik verantwoordelijk voor een groot deel van de organisatie van materialen, toeleveranciers, bouwers en de communicatie met alle belangrijke partijen van het project. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog het nodige schilder-, timmer- en laswerk verricht en aansturing en uitvoering van de electra georganiseerd.

DraakTijdens het sloterplasfestival moest er een draak worden gemaakt. Ik heb geholpen bij de bouw en de creatie van de kop op me genomen. Het beest nogsteeds rond op een vlot in een oud pierenbadje naast Sloterstrand.

LeeuwMet een paar oude platen underlayment, oude pallets een zaag en een tacker. heb ik samen met anderen 2 leeuwen gebouwd. Deze heb ik voor het grootste deel gemaakt.

Hotel BuitenBij dit buurt project heb ik naast werken met hout vooral leren lassen en de kracht van staal ontdekt. Op de foto onderaan is te zien hoe de trap met bordes, die ik vast gelast had, tot het uiterste werd getest op de dag van de opening. Dat was toen wel even slikken maar nu ken ik dit materiaal door en door.
SCRAP CREATIONS
Amsterdam is always filled with old items left at the curb. In many of these things, I see alternative forms and new composite creations that can still serve a purpose. I also utilize leftover materials from projects to create something beautiful. Here is a brief glimpse into my Scrap Creations and other objects that I craft in my free time. Most of them I give away as presents for family and friends.

MAKER MARTES
My name is Martes, I'm an all-round Maker and I can make it. From tailored Dream Rooms till a Wabi Sabi House in your garden. A big wooden Dragon, a new elektricity installation, a DJ Booth, the interior of a restaurant, Barbershop, Skipper Cabin or a small functional object like an Ámp for your house or as a gift. I design and create, I'm a welder, carpenter and all round builder in one. You name it, I make it! Together with my organised van, full of tools, I can work on any location.

'Ik had Martes gevraagd om de deur van de meterkast in de woonkamer weg te werken (met in acht nemen van de wettelijke regels uiteraard). Hij had hier zulk goed werk afgeleverd dat ik hem daarna ook meteen heb gevraagd voor een terras in de tuin. Ook hier mee super tevreden. Mocht ik ooit nog een klus hebben zou ik hem weer vragen.'
